My faith journey
I was raised with an understanding of Jesus but only had religion – no relationship. I had no idea how much I needed the relationship (or that it was even available to me), until a family vacation to Tennessee when I was 40. It’s a long story, but I had a stroke in the early morning hours, and my wife found me half responsive on the kitchen table. The doctors initially thought that we would have to stay in TN as I went through rehab. However, on my first night in the hospital, a good friend of mine shared the song “Raise a Hallelujah” with me. As I listened to it, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and had such a powerful encounter with Christ. I was sobbing like a baby. The next day I was walking around my room. My doctor walked in and looked astonished. He was amazed at my progress and called it a miracle. I was released later that day. I have never been the same since.
Fast forward a few months after TN, and as my young kids were opening packs of cards, I could feel that the hobby today was more about money than it was when I was a kid in the 80’s & 90’s. It didn’t feel right. I prayed that night before my shower and asked God to either take it all away from us or make it about Him. By the time I was done with my shower, He had answered and gave us our family ministry – Blessings and ball cards. Here we are today… Using the hobby as a platform to Jesus and helping and loving others as we travel this road of faith.
Charitable giving
We give back half of all sales to charities and people in need. You can see a list of charities and causes that we’ve donated to since our ministry started in 2021.
